Occupational Therapist
Ms. Aisha Alli, MSc., (UK Reg.), HPC reg. (SI cert)
After receiving her occupational therapy qualification in 2012 in the UK, Aisha realized that her passion was to practice in a setting that had everything to do with the neuroscience. Her passion motivated her to pursue a Masters degree in Health and Rehabilitation with a specialist interest in neurorehabilitation. Aisha's curiosity for learning about the brain continued as she pursued further training in Ayres Sensory Integration which allowed her to specialize in working with individuals who experience sensory processing and integration difficulties.
Over her ten years of working experience, Aisha has worked in various settings, including hospitals, special and mainstream schools, orphanages, and clinics. Before joining Cayman Theraplay, Aisha worked in China for five years. She contributed to parent education programs, teacher training and provided high-quality therapy for children. Aisha's passion for building strong therapeutic relationships enables her to work closely with the families, and she strongly advocates for school inclusivity. Aisha understands the importance of culture within her practice and uses a holistic approach to connect with local and international families.
