Rachel graduated with her Master’s degree in Occupational therapy from the University of Louisiana Monroe. With a career built on a foundation of empathy, expertise, and education, Rachel has become a trusted resource for families seeking support for their children’s unique challenges. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Rachel brings a bilingual proficiency that allows her to connect with diverse families.
Coupled with her nearly 10 years of practical experience, Rachel’s specialty areas include sensory integration for both emotional regulation and motor development, feeding, and connecting with challenging children. She has received additional post-graduate training in both sensory integration and feeding and is certified through the Sequential Oral Sensory Approach to Feeding® . Rachel approaches each case with an energetic and innovative mindset, using evidence-based practices that yield results. She has the ability to engage children from toddlers to teens, making therapy sessions personalized, fun, and effective.
Rachel believes in continuous learning and professional development and therefore ensures that she is aware of the latest research and therapeutic techniques to allow her to provide the highest quality of care. In addition to her clinical work, Rachel has also provided seminars to various colleges and Universities on sensory integration and sensory feeding.
Rachel’s goal is to help each child achieve their fullest potential, fostering independence and confidence in their everyday lives. With her unique blend of skills, cultural understanding, and passion for pediatric therapy, Rachel makes an impact on the lives of children and families in the community.
